Just quietly... I'm a bit miffed that this wiring loom is NLA.
- Good intentions or not "they" created the problem and now wont supply this as a spare part???
But I get why they no longer manufacture these for the RHD cars... It would be very expensive to have a bunch of these sitting in a warehouse somewhere that may never be ordered. The whole biodegradable wire thing was mismanaged from the start. I talked to a salesman at the local dealership. He used to be a dealership mechanic and he changed many of these under warranty more than 20 years ago. Apparently they had no end of issues with disgruntled customers.
Anyways, it could be a whole lot worse.
- Once this is done it would have cost me less than $400 to fix/replace both top and bottom engine wiring looms.
