Lots of great info here and some good reading. Congrats to the seller and new owner of the 81SC in Zinnmetal. That was definitely part of the inspiration for this post.
On a similar note, did anyone read Haggerty’s article “Gates and Ladders?” I would put high miles cars in their gates catagory. I found it very enjoyable. So much dogma surrounding these cars that I don’t subscribe to, it was really refreshing.
