Does this count as transportation? Found pictures of what my old go karts looked like. Not mine but same exact models.
The first one had solid rubber tires and a metal seat and actually had a reverse gear. Neighbor told my parents they saw me go around a corner with it up on two wheels and my parents went looking for something a little more stable and they bought the red one. (Glad they didn't say no more go cart). I think dad paid $80 for it and rebuilt the carb to get it running. Even had the STP sticker. Started with a 3.5hp Tecumsah and when it went bad we found a 5hp 2 stroke that was previously used on a small airboat. Slow on takeoff but once the rpm's were up woohoo. We measured and clocked it once at 42mph in my friend's driveway (it was a fairly long driveway). Some of my most fond memories playing as a kid were running go karts up and down his driveway and this could possibly one of the reasons I ended up buying a 911 when I was older.
