You can crawl under the car, or get it on a lift, to check for lots of oil around the bellhousing area, the joint between the engine and transmission cases. Whether the clutch is slipping due to age/wear or the rear main seal is leaking oil onto the clutch assembly, the repair is the same: remove transmission and replace clutch disc/pressure plate.
