Today I was given the privilege to enter, amidst heavy security, the Warner Bros. corporate archive. This is an enormous warehouse that houses movie and television props. Imagine the last scene of "Raiders of The Lost Arc" but with air-tight sealed costumes from almost every WB movie, parts of prop houses, buildings, Roman facades, props from "The Matrix" movies, robot "animatronics" from sc-fi movies like "Terminator," costumes, original
PR posters, and yes, all 5 Batmobiles plus the blue Harry Potter Anglia inside, and you'll get the idea of where I've been.
Of course, one is not allowed to wander around the place. Joel Schumacher himself has put almost a penalty of death on anyone who touches one of the Batman cars, which, btw, is supposedly a 350 V8.
Security is super-tight with electric fences and cameras surrounding the building. I'm almost certain one could find an example of their favorite movie in there - I found placards from "The Wild Bunch." I wouldn't be surprised if Dorothy's ruby shoes (or one of the pairs) from the "W of Z" were somewhere there.
It's probably one of the best things I've experienced in this industry.
