I would strongly advise you not to cobble together some homemade exhaust; these engines are VERY sensitive to exhaust tuning and the throttle response, HP, and torque will really suffer.
If you want a good high-quality stainless steel Sport muffler that works, I'd suggest either a Monty Muffler (lifetime guarantee) or a Dansk; both in a dual-inlet/single outlet version.
