We had a few years of an actual conspiracy, promulgated by the Media Industrial Complex. --Politicians got spooks to push a narrative that the POTUS was actually a Russian stooge. --talk about crazy-town! Yet that "information" was pushed and pushed. ... and pushed. (for example)
It's as if -in this information age- that disinformation has become a sport, of sorts. A dog-wagging, tongue-in-cheek competition for the mind-warpping of viewers everywhere. From Flat Earth "Yes, it really is - here's how..." to Russian Collusion "We have the pictures; Yes; Naked Trrrump." And we have Facci "Don't wear a mask" and Facci "Wear a mask - but not the ones that work. Those are for professionals" and then, on day 365 of "we need two weeks to flatten the curve" we are told "wear 2 masks, because one mask wasn't really working."
