They do not even have the same last name. Bruce Meyer, (not Meyers), is the collector and founder of the Petersen Museum. Bruce Myers, creator of the Myers Manx, was a very cool guy...they are both cool guys.
Poor Bruce Meyer and his family are fielding phone calls and texts from confused people over the last couple days, I've even gotten one because I am friends w his daughter. Imagine some of their surprise when the dead guy answers the phone or the front door of their house.
PS: He's also not the guy getting a shout-out from Peter Frampton on that famous live album.
