Yeah, for a car guy, living in LA is a voyeur's paradise. Even up here on the fringes of the SF Bay Area, it's not uncommon to see cars like Joe Bob posted driving around on a regular basis. Probably not the case in many other areas of the country though.
One of the nice things about our local C&C is getting to see some out-of-the-ordinary stuff mixed in with the usual bunch of newish exotica, hotrods, and muscle cars. I've seen a beautifully turned out D-Jag recreation, an old barn-find air-cooled Franklin, a few impeccably restored classic Packards, an all-original un-restored 289 Cobra, some JDM imports, and even a belly tanker lakes car show up at the local Starbucks. E-Type Jags, long-hood 911s, vintage Mercs, 356 outlaws and such are fairly common.
