You'd want to get schedule 40.

Have you worked with PVC pipe before?
The horizontal pipe coming from the elbow is also split. I'm afraid that I'd need to cut the very top of the vertical portion just below the elbow, then install a new elbow, new straight portion and the 45s and then the gray pipe that screws into the metal T with the faucet.

It's just over 1 1/4" OD, so I believe that means that it's 1" sched 40.

I've done some pvc before, mostly under sinks, and for the A/C drain pan pipe. I've worked with this stuff before.
