Sounds like a labeling change may have been made.
Many posts in this thread and throughout these Forums provide great examples of just how little many folks know about our US regulatory requirements with respect to medicine.
My first exposure was in 1978 at GE's medical equipment headquarters in MKE. I went to work as a summer student... in that role I was doing my best to help bring a new $1M vascular x-ray system through final engineering steps. The regulatory (FDA) world then is not the same as it is today.
It is hard, but not impossible for people to learn about these regulations.
