That said there’s another issue. There’s more reliable power available with lower CR’s and more boost, timing, etc. than there is trying to tune around a higher CR to make it live. You can go to far of course; a low CR makes the engine have a”soft” response low down.

The pistons are RS (standard dome) - not standard 9.8.
I could of course change pistons to 8.5, but if I open the motor it will be because I choose to make it bigger and keep it NA.
