Good luck making that trip in one day in any EV.
You do that every day do ya, went to look at boats a 1000 miles away? Did you drive something there to tow it home? If so, a new 911 Turbo wouldn't work for your real car duty either......

But no doubt the supercharging infrastructure in the Midwest is different then out west.

Its funny how someone who's actually put a significant amount of mileage on one and drives one every day is now "Woke" or just maybe someone who's actually put some significant mileage on one and drives one everyday has an informed opinion about their actual use. Maybe even more then a magazine tester who gets it for one day.

I actually got a 10 minute ride in a Tesla several years ago and paid zero attention to it. I had just dropped off my new GT350 to get detailed and a clear bra installed. The shop owner dropped me back off at work in his Tesla. After the sound of that GT350, we get in the Tesla puts it in drive and nothing, nada. Boring as hell. Didn't get it, not interested at all. 100% not interested. 100% would've been excited had that been a new Turbo.

Fast forward a couple of years, I’ve put probably less then 10K miles on the GT350 and decide i want something different to drive everyday. Hmmm, let me check this Tesla thing out, some of them look pretty good when done up right. I go and test drive one and thought it was kinda cool. Loved the tech. Now after a couple years of driving it everyday and over 20K miles on it, I can, without a doubt say its the best car I've ever owned. I actually look forward to driving it. I love the contrast between it and our other ICE cars and appreciate them all for the differences. But honestly,
I absolutely can't stand going to agas station. I'm used to leaving everyday with a full tank. I appreciate the convenience. My wife sold her Mini Cooper S and bought a Model 3. She absolutely loves the thing. Its not even a Tesla thing.. I'm seriously afraid to go test drive the new Porsche Taycan. I know i will love it and a Turbo Taycan is just not in the budget.
