ATT said in 2019 they were shutting down DSL soon (I was at 5 meg) so I signed up for their Fiber Optic 300 meg (I get about 200-225) and it cost not much more than what you folks are quoting for 25 meg. Granted this land based and not mobile but if you are using it for your home look and see if Fiber Optic is in your area. It is rock solid reliable.
The t mobile offering and Starlink are absolutely essential.

Many here expressing interest can’t get fiber much less coax.

The cost to run to remote homes exceeds what the provider could ever hope to recoup so if it hasn’t happened for them yet it likely never will.

Even in densely populated areas your choice for providers is limited to only a couple if you are lucky. Many are stuck with a choice of one and local politics does not allow for competition.

These solutions offer a way around prohibitions that prevent new networks to enter the market.

Federal FCC regs supersede state and local regulation by ensuring consumers have rights to receive OTA signals.

While not as mature as traditional broadband even in their current states provide enough bandwidth for the average consumer at reasonable rates.

It’s a pretty big, welcome, and necessary deal.
