Not at the moment, Steve. I'm kind of a "keep it factory original" guy anyway. I watched a YT vid of a guy who put some updated rubber moldings along the windshield that had channels so rain water wouldn't fly around and into the cabin, which I thought made sense. So we'll see. Much to be investigated!

Every time I see a post about a Volvo I think back to the one my mom had. '83 240DL that she bought used with Dad's life insurance money when he died. White on tan cloth with an auto trans. First time I drove it I almost put myself thru the front windshield when I hit the brakes, and this was just pulling it into the garage! That car had some of the best brakes of any car I've ever driven. I like to think she always felt like Dad was taking care of her whenever she drove it.

Nice story, Scott....thanks for sharing. That's one thing I really appreciate about these cars - how safe they are in any kind of crash. Hopefully I'll never find out from personal experience, but with today's crazy drivers - you never know.
