Actually I’ve found the white engines to be very reliable turbo or no turbo. We’ve had 5, 3 non turbos and 2 turbos . I upgraded from 240 to the 850 in large part because of the engine. I loved our various 240’s, but they desperate needed a bit more power. The non turbo isn’t hugely powerful, but it’s a perfectly peppy and enjoyable amount of power for the 850. I especially enjoyed the stick shift 5 speed.
