Oral surgery really sucks. It makes it really hard to eat, and that is kinda necessary to heal and grow stronger. After one bout of oral surgery of mine the surgeon told me to stop and get some vanilla ice cream or any ice cream with nothing lumpy in it. I asked him to write that on a prescription pad along with the pain pills prescription.

I got the pills at a pharmacy, and stopped at the local dairy store and picked up some ice cream. I told my wife, hands off, that is my medicine and showed her the prescription.

So now when we figure it is time to get some ice cream we call it medicine.

So get her some ice cream, and that at least she can let it melt in her mouth and get some nutrition. No chewing needed. And it covers the taste of blood.
