The person who was banned was given several warnings by several moderators to turn down the heat. He was in violation of the forum rules. He was warned repeatedly, and ignored those warnings. There was not much more that we could have done.
Hopefully, this will be a learning lesson for him and he will return with a more temperate attitude.
