To wrap this up today we met with a local health insurance agent and decided to go with Care Source of Georgia an HMO policy . $1595.00 per month to cover both of us . When my wife goes on Medicare in October my policy will be 50% less and I stay with it until I turn 65 .
This week I went online to start the process of claiming my SS benefits . That will cover the cost of the health insurance with some left over to add to the toy fund . All in all it turned out ok other than the 21.5k we have to pay back for ACA subsidies due to our income level . Live and learn 😁
