Any other important info on these is appreciated, such as how old is still new enough, etc. Different ages of Mac products run different latest OSes, from what I can gather. Some people don’t like the latest OS, it seems. Thanks a million!
Not a huge fan of the older Air's.

Some years / models are not really user serviceable.

Check Apple refurb site, apple.com scroll to bottom

Stock changes daily so you have to keep an eye on it and grab what you want when you see it cause it may not last.

Saw new M1 Airs on there last week for $800ish.
