The point is that apparently that was for paint — only. Metal finishing is somewhere else on that cost sheet. Perhaps the Porsche dealer.

However, after doing the math, I realize that $40K only pays for 400 hours at a lowly rate of 100/hr and no materials, so I concede on that.

I know, because I've painted a few and it takes forever. Especially if you're painting everything inside and out. It would take one worker a 40 hr week just to install all the glass, trim and bumpers. Make that a week for 2 workers for installing the panels as well.

It adds up fast.

I really should get back in the game and make the RH windshield wiper nut. Probably a hundred dollar item, eh?

2 for $150. Come and get 'em. The line starts at the door.

And WTH is a "square lip exhaust tip?" Indeed, polished at that. How much did that little item run? I'll say this: you won't find that on Google.
