The Pope-Leighey House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1940. Located in Alexandria, Virginia. In 1965 the 1200 sq ft /111 m2 home was to be demolished to make way for local highway expansion but it was saved, restored, listed with the US National Trust, and opened to tours.
