We are very proud. After 9-11 he couldn't stop complaining about how the US had been handling the Middle East. He spent a lot of time there and was The Shah of Iran's favorite chess partner. We told him to call President Bush with advice. (He had worked closely with the elder Bush.) "Nah", he said, "They won't listen to me." Too bad.
