I'm looking to buy a Cayenne also. It's for frequent trips up to the Sierra, so it needs to be a good snow vehicle. There are V6s, V8s, hybrids, and diesels. Should I stay away from any of these?
Fuel economy is not the main goal. Nor is power. My budget is under $20K and I don't want big repair bills going forward. There are some nice examples, on Craigslist, of model years 2008 to 2012 with 80K to 120K miles.
