I don't consider my 2004 TT to be that great in snow/ice, despite the all wheel drive. The tires/wheels are just too wide. They push a lot of snow and water...even with good all-season tires. One would be better with a model with the narrower ones. It is not so much that you get stuck as you can raise the height and creep through deeper snow, it is just a challenge to actually drive on snowy roads where you would not have much trouble with a narrow-tire front wheel drive.
