The cup and holes will always fit because those cabinets are built based on a 32 mm system. That means the screw holes are always 32 mm apart. The hinge cups are always 35 mm. May I suggest you buy a set of Blum, I know, they are more money, but worth the paying extra. The clip together instead of sliding into a slot and held together by a screw between the hinge and plate. That Amerock maybe the wrong hinge? Its 1 1/2" for 1 1/2" overlay doors. Notice the hinge cup is above the plate fully open, your hinge is when open fully.

I am bias because I have all the Blum drilling equip at our shop and I know they made a great product. Many of their products are still made in Austria.
