If your cooling is "just marginal" with the Carerra cooler and fan, there are a few low cost "tweaks" that you can try. The easiest is to change out the thermowitch on the Carerra cooler for a switch set to activate the fan at a lower temp. I don't remember, but the Porsche switch is set to turn the fan on at a very high temp........around 300 degrees. BMW sells a direct swap out thermswitch that is set for about 230 degrees. The downside to this is that you fan will cycle more and therefore have a reduced life.
The second thing that you may want to try is the new forced air scoop that Pelican and a few others market that gets installed through the existing bumper. Since the Carerra cooler fan only covers about half the surface area of the cooler, the ram air scoop should provide some incremental improvement.
