A bracket was welded onto the suspension crossmember, and I think a weld-nut was attached to the bracket. A threaded rod or set-screw was threaded through, with a jam nut threaded onto that to secure it in place. The end of the set-screw pushed on the end of the master cylinder.

The pics are not on the GRM website that I have seen, but they are in the magazine.
