Yep, all the time. When I sold Kinney's shoes back in the day they had a particular brand of high work boot. The Cowboys from the Irvine Ranch (yes that long ago) would buy these boots a size small. They would soak the whole boot in a tub of water and wear them wet to get a perfect fit.
