A puff of white smoke, these engines has done this since 1964, some after a while, some directly from the show room floor. That has never hurt anything else than feelings.

I'm curious why you think it would cause restriction. I'm considering one and would hope it's designed in such a way that it would prevent back flow without creating a restriction.
