No correlation for me between colour and accidents, maintenance requirements or tickets.
I have put a blue car on its roof, been ticketed in cars that were beige and white, the wife was had two accidents in a red car and we had a grey truck set on fire in a garage when changing the fuel pump went horribly wrong.
I do have a preference for blue, but not so much as to over ride a particular model or options.
