Not a bit. Years ago, I heard that red was more expensive for insurance, so I avoided them for that. I eventually heard that either it had been a myth or things had changed. For a while I had a bright red turbo miata. It was a great looking little car. I don't think I ever actually got a ticket in it. I was pulled over a couple of times, but just got warnings.
Tobra has the same car, but in gray. The gray turbo miatas are thought to be cursed. The theory is that they are so small and low slung in a world of taller and taller vehicles that they are hit more often because the gray almost acts as a camouflage making them blend in with the road surface.

I've had blue, green, red, black, silver, gray, brown and copper cars. I don't think I've had a yellow car or orange or purple, but I'd be willing to have any of those. Actually, I'd be happy to have one of the old pale yellow GM cars from the '60s and early 70s. I'd also like to have an orange Porsche.
