The people in our country who are telling us to be nice to each other are in turn not being very "nice".

Kids need role models growing up.

Their parents influence first and foremost but also siblings and also schoolmates. Teachers and other adults - to some degree. A Scoutmaster more than a teacher, I would say.

I had an older brother and was influenced by him but also by some of his friends.

Kids are like freaking sponges!

At the end of the day a parent's influence though is unmatched.
