Many threads on these type valves. It seems overall the guys that don’t believe they are safe or effective don’t have one, and the guys that have them like them. Rare to see someone put one in and then later remove it.

I’m about halfway through an engine reseal. Once the motor is back in the car I will revisit my puff of smoke situation, although since I am not doing any internal changes to the motor I don’t believe it will be any different than before. If that is the case I will install one from either Rothsport or Wilhoit as it is easy to do with the engine in the car.
