I recently sold my 73 911E sportomatic at Gooding. Very nice driver level car with 120,000 miles and a documented rebuild at 100k miles. The car hammered at $69,300 including the buyer’s premium, and was purchased by a dealer. The dealer listed the car for $89,000 and a prospective buyer tracked me down to ask about the car. He made a deal at $84,500. There’s a much narrower market for a sportomatic.
