Thanks Deez! I agree it's a hard one to peg. Color wise here would be optimum. In 88' when I landed every car on the road was freaking white nearly. People here, would sh-t themselves on the vintage color on a dealer car like this. As you know, there's more than one way to skin a cat. One strategy I've considered is to export it and bring it back to Japan (possibly have some resto work done cheaper while in country like NZ). Therein all data goes blank on DMV here. Bring it right back to Japan, import it as an import and easy local registration at DMV here and then domestic sale at the 30% premium. The down side for me is more money to do that, then I'd be tempted to restore it further at more cost. I'd rather export it and be done, cut my losses and run so to speak. I really need to focus on my 89' and finish that out. I'm not getting any younger...
