Kitty probably got 15-20 moles which was okay with me. For about five years they ate every single bulb I planted next to the walk and let bubble trails everywhere. He never touched birds
afaik.
One time kitty brought in a rabbit baby larger than than a softball (and completely unharmed) and gave it to me as a present. Both the dog and cat looked at me and pleaded
"we want a new friend so can we keep it?" They were sad when I put it outside with food, but with all the new smells on it the mother probably rejected it afterwards. Nowadays the dog will just walk two feet past rabbits in the yard eating the bird seed.
