That is actually a brilliant idea I hadn't thought of pmax! I will think on it. I have a new OEM drivers door mirror a friend in Okayama gave me (former Porsche dealer). He gave me the brake pedal rubber new as well and a few other parts after I found him some parts 914 cylinders and heads or 9ll T equivalent a Kobe friend had. Just an introduction direct.
If I do that though, it will leave gaping round holes in the top of the front fenders. That won't look nice even if I put some CB antennas on both sides. Who needs 2 CB antennas? I thought the patina is of optimum importance as Matt Monson generally gripes about. If I get rid of them, it may create another problem and more work, much worse, Matt probably wouldn't approve of it.
