I remember Olson turn up at an big willow back in 2005/6 with a ginormous barn door home made wing. It had tin snipped sheet metal, tethering wires all sorts of things. But it all worked !

Agree been around T8 with a 6 foot blade rear wing (and front splitter) and never had to lift.
Jack found the aero balance and set his best lap times with it.
No wing or a duck look nice too and Aero balance should never be an issue if you never go on track.
I like my Turbo look with cool AC and a rear wing for a little rear downforce.
