I about crapped my pants today. I was walking to stake a hub for a new house and this cat was where I needed to be.
I remembered the wise words of a Seminole Indian, when you see a snake, walk the other way, come back in 5 minutes and it will be gone.
I decided to stake other corners and do that one last. When I came back it was gone.
My phone zooms in pretty good, I was a good 10' away and that was as close as I was getting.
That is the biggest coral snake I have ever seen. I have seen my share. More unnerving, this was not in the swap or woods this was in a developed neighborhood and that snake looked well fed.
