I was searching for a front grille for a 928, and got a PM from jimgriffin7653 here on the forum. He told me that worldpart44@gmail had what I was looking for.
And sure enough he had, picture and everything. Agreed on $100 and $35 shipping. Then he wanted another $50 for shipping. The grille is 27" x 12" and 2lbs, and fit in a flat USPS or UPS package that cost $20 to ship. He wanted PayPal to "Family and Friends", so I can't get the money back from PayPal...
I never got the grille of course.
How can e stop scammers like jimgriffin7653 here on Pelican? Is his membership here traceable?
