10 months ago here it was because of massive tornados. You couldn’t get shingles at all, lucky to find a contractor who wasn’t booked up. That made sense.
Last summer there was a pressure treated lumber shortage. Now there’s plenty of PT, but a shortage of construction lumber. It’s nuts.
