Title transfer proves change of ownership. Even with a BOS and signed title ownership has not transferred. If anything happens the legal owner of the car can be held liable.
What is to stop the buyer from dropping the signed title and BOS in a shredder and driving the car?
Not worth the risk for $2,500.00.
