depends upon the recipient and the prank.
There are people that go to haunted houses for Halloween and watch scary movies because they enjoy being scared. There are people that if you scare them, they don't like it and they get angry. Prank recipients can be the same. Some are OK with a prank and some are not. Some pranks can go too far, and some do not, and the line of "too far" will greatly depend upon the recipient. Some folks will think that any prank is too far. Some will be fine even if the prank hurts.
