I followed the Ever Given predicament but really had no comment because that ship was so BIG and we never had them like that. No containers vessels at all. I did think the loader or backhoe was a very amateurish attempt and a bit embarrassing, and I knew they needed the biggest tug in the world (one only) and I believe we had that tug in our waters and one time.
I think the Ever Given was a very deep draught, like 50 or 60 feet, and that it would be a big job, not for guys like us. However, if they had wanted us , we would have gone if just to kick the tires a bit.

BTW The canal is narrower than I thought.
BTW road hockey played in sneakers on paved roads. If you didn't come home with a bloody nose, you were a slacker.
