For what it's worth, the original guage illumination wire was blue/ black. It was sort of daisy-chained from one bulb to the next.

Cool. It would have taken me 3 hours with a test light to find that ground wire. I should just run another solid grounding wire and daisy chain them and be donw with it?
The blue light, high beam light comes on with a pull of the head light switch half way or the first click. There's some funking siht going on behind there I must sort out.
