A dremel with the appropriate bit is handy for carving out unavailable parts like front grills, lights etc.

Thanks for the tip Bill. I used an X-acto knife and carefully trimmed the center section out. I kept test fitting the insert to see how it would fit and then trimmed accordingly being careful to not get into the inner headlights.
