He's a pretty cool old dude that's for sure. He's an old school hot rodder and he has helped me in the past with my 1968 Dodge D100 when I had questions about the carburetor or changing the fuel pump, he would tell me what to do and he is usually correct, lol. He has a 1970 Mach 1 and once when he was going to check the timing, I asked if he had a timing light and he said, "no, I check it by ear". Lol. When he said he had built that model when he was 12 years old, and after he had that stroke, I thought it would be a good thing to restore the model, and in the process he picked up model car building again and I think it has helped him to focus on thing better.
Thanks for all the compliments on the restoration, it really means a lot to me that other people appreciate the time and effort I put into the build. [emoji846]
