I still have a good bit of work to do on my current track car and the 911 is begging for attention. But I felt like I needed this one. It is a 1986 951 with some good upgrades to the suspension and engine. The previous owner, a local PCA member, threw in a bunch of parts and a tire trailer with the deal. Some deferred maintenance is in order and cosmetically, it needs some TLC.
My initial thoughts are to make it a solid street car with strong track capabilities. I'm leaning toward a wide body and a wing. And perhaps a color change. I've never been a big fan of guards red but not sure I want to do all the work to repaint the interior metal and engine compartment. Maybe I'll add some complementary color to the exterior to soften the red, instead of a full color change. I'm open to suggestions.
