Became eligible in Michigan as of yesterday (not 50+ yet). A week ago I registered for notifications to schedule online for Ford Field in Detroit (where the Detroit Lions lose a lot of games), and local hospital where my primary doc is.
Got a text Sunday for Ford Field, made an appointment for yesterday afternoon, and easy peasy. No line outside, really efficient inside...a lot of people moving in and out. FEMA/National Guard handled the jabs, Meijer Pharmacy the scheduling. Had the jab within 5 minutes of walking in, and waited for 15. Will head back for 2nd dose of Pfizer in 3 weeks.
Feeling a little sluggish today. But, not sure if that's from shoveling over 3 yards of dirt and setting up a garden, the vaccine...or likely a little of both.
